What is Zetafax?
Zetafax is a centralised faxing system that can be fully integrated into your existing messaging system and corporate LAN. The Zetafax client software is available for Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 Server and Professional editions, Windows NT 4.0 Server and Workstation, Windows XP Professional, Windows 98, or Windows 95.

The Zetafax server is available for Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 Server, Windows NT 4.0 Server, Windows XP Professional, and Microsoft Small Business Server 2000/2003.

A Windows 2000 or Windows NT dedicated fax server is recommended if you have over 25 users, or multiple fax lines.

Whatever combination of programs you use, the functions provided are the same - you need only learn how to use the programs once.

What are the benefits of Zetafax?
Today fax is still one of the most sophisticated ways there is to send a message. The traditional fax machine, however, is outdated and not always secure. Employees may waste hours standing over old-fashioned technology as it dials and transmits. Faxing from your desktop using Zetafax is as easy as printing your document to a fax printer driver. What can Zetafax do?
Zetafax can set up any document as an attachment to make sending both simple and fast. In fact, any paper document can be scanned in. This can be done using Hewlett Packard's HP Digital Sender series of products.

Documents can be faxed out directly, and those that you send regularly, such as brochures, are stored in fax format (compressed TIFF graphics files), so they don't need to be converted each time.

Being in control with Zetafax
Network administrators can control who is able to send faxes when and where in the world. What's more, international communications can be kept to a minimum cost with the Zetafax Least Cost Routing (LCR) module. For example, this allows you to send a fax from your office in London to people in the US at the cost of a local call.

Being in control of your faxing system is not just about keeping a check on costs. The ability to retrieve information quickly is an important consideration. Any information that you have sent or received can be archived on your system. This means you have easy access to all your faxes, any time you need to view them. There's no longer the need to print out every fax and lose yourself under a mound of paperwork.

Even before you archive your fax you can view it in any number of ways. Zetafax gives you the flexibility to view faxes from your client window or your e-mail inbox.
